- Reduce down time and
operating cost by making a brake bracket that:
Can stand up to the demanding use of a brake lever
and cable system rated at 1500 lbs.
• We accomplish this by making our brake brackets
from ¼”
thick angle iron instead of 3/16” thick
steel.
• To prevent the top of the brake bracket from
bending
down we use the heavier angle iron instead
of bending
a piece of 3/16” thick steel.
• To prevent the brake bracket leg from bending
over:
On our towable unit the brake bracket is welded to
the axle and gussets that are welded to the axle
support bracket.
On our non towable unit the brake bracket is welded
directly to the axle support.
- Improve safety by being
there when you need it. Our heavy duty brake bracket
won’t bend under work related pressure or fall down
on the job from exhaustion. This is important
because the braking system is a key component to the
safe operation of this type of stump grinder. Why?
Because, without the braking system you don’t have
control and it’s very hard to operate.
